Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT)
What is HBOT?
Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) is a non-invasive medical treatment that enhances the body’s natural healing processes. During HBOT, patients breathe 100% pure oxygen inside a specially designed pressurized chamber. This significantly increases the amount of oxygen delivered to the body’s tissues—stimulating repair, reducing inflammation, and fighting infection.

HBOT THERAPY
How It Works:
Under normal conditions, oxygen is carried by red blood cells. In a hyperbaric environment, oxygen dissolves directly into the plasma, allowing it to reach areas with poor blood flow or chronic wounds that are slow to heal.
Inside the chamber:
Pressure is increased to 2 to 3 times normal atmospheric levels
Patients breathe pure oxygen for about 60–90 minutes per session
A full course typically includes multiple sessions over several weeks, depending on the condition being treated
Conditions Commonly Treated with HBOT:
Chronic diabetic foot ulcers
Radiation injuries (e.g., after cancer treatment)
Non-healing surgical wounds
Infections such as osteomyelitis
Necrotizing infection
Carbon Monoxide poisoning
Severe Anemia
Skin grafts and flaps at risk of failure
Crush injuries or compromised limbs
proven outcomes
Clinical studies and decades of experience show that HBOT can:
Accelerate wound healing
Reduce the need for surgery or amputation
Improve oxygen supply to damaged tissues
Fight infection and enhance antibiotic effectiveness
Improve quality of life in patients with chronic, non-healing conditions
HBOT is a safe, evidence-based therapy that is FDA-approved for multiple indications and supported by strong clinical guidelines.
